CAROLYN'S PLACE
Serving women and their children who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault
and homelessness.
This year staff answered 1,780 crisis line calls for crisis intervention, emergency
housing, safety planning, support and information.
Carolyn's Place provided a total of 6,994 nights of stay to women and children.
* Legal Advocacy
* Health Care
* Counseling
* Housing Referrals
* Education
* Transportation Assistance
Counselors provided over 870 hours of individual and group support counseling for
domestic violence and sexual assault survivors.
First Responders provided immediate assistance to survivors of sexual assault and
domestic violence at local hospitals.
Court Advocates assisted 182 St. Clair County residents with various services.

PATHWAY SHELTER
Providing support and services to homeless men, couples and their families
Pathway Case Managers provided over 19,000 units of case management and referrals to
clients this year.
* Food and Nutrition
* Housing and Utilities
* Education
* Counseling
* Employment assistance
* Health care
200 people, including 49 children utilized Pathway Shelter for a total of 7,370 nights
of stay.
HERITAGE HALL
Serving men who are survivors of homelessness, domestic violence and sexual assault.
Heritage Hall is designated as an overflow shelter and is operated as demand dictates.
105 people were provided with 3,600 nights of shelter and supportive services throughout
the year.
SUPPORTIVE HOUSING
Providing housing assistance and support to vulnerable populations.
Safe Horizons received grants that enabled 30 vulnerable county residents to obtain
housing. This program continues with each client providing

Use Your Skills & Talents to Give Someone A Brighter Day
It is nice to have planned activities for residents to get involved in from a game of
kickball to crafting and painting. It can be a very rewarding experience for everyone
involved. If there is something that you enjoy and want to share with others or for more
